The Caribbean Culture
Here’s a brief description if you aren’t too familiar with the West Indies.
The West Indies is an area in the Caribbean Sea, next to the Mexican Gulf. (You can see in the map below).
The region includes many islands, for example Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Saint Lucie, Martinique, Guadeloupe and the list goes on……..
In Martinique and Guadeloupe they speak French and Creoles as it is still goverened by the French.
Most islands have been colonized by Europe, therefore the languages spoken are English, Spanish, Portugaise, and French.
So now where is the West Indies………??
The West indies are the area all in the Caribbean Sea on next to the Mexico Golf.

The caribbean have to most beautiful beaches in the world with some incredibles food using spices. The colors of our traditional colors are yellow, red, green and orange. We do use them for define ourselves with clothes, tables cloth or others items.
All of the Islands are major producers of banana, sugar cane, rum, and spices. If you ever visit the Caribbean, make sure to take a stroll through the bustling local markets of beautiful Martinique or Guadeloupe, where you will be greeted by the locals with a warm smile. We are well known for our smile.
The market stalls are filled with spices and rum. Rum is one of the finest drinks you will enjoy in our Islands. We also marinade rum with fruits and sweet spices; a perfect condiment.
